Van Racking for MAN TGE

Project Overview

Van Racking Solutions partnered with UK Hose to deliver a practical, tidy, and task-specific fit-out for a MAN TGE van. In addition to a fully customised internal layout, VRS also handled the vehicle’s livery, ensuring the van reflects the UK Hose brand out on the road. The vehicle supports the client’s field technicians and was designed with efficiency and durability in mind.

Racking Configuration

Offside Racking

The offside is fitted with a bank of wide drawers, providing extensive and secure storage for fittings, tools, and consumables. The fit out also includes an open lower shelf allowing for easy access to bulkier items or frequently used kit. The offside workbench is fitted with a hose chop saw ready to make any job that little bit easier.

Nearside Racking

The nearside includes additional drawer units and shelving, maintaining symmetry and ensuring every essential item can be stored safely and efficiently. A specialist mounted Swager has been installed at the front of the nearside unit — designed specifically for the client’s hose handling operations.

Electrical Setup

To support on-site operations, VRS installed a comprehensive electrical system in the MAN TGE. This included an inverter, multiple charging points, interior LED lighting, and external beacons — all professionally fitted in-house. The setup ensures the van remains fully functional and visible in demanding field conditions, day or night.
