Peugeot Partner van racking for vet practice

Peugeot Partner van racking. Veterinary practices often visit their clients to look after the well being of larger animals, therefore they have vehicles on the road that need to store equipment and medications. Vets often choose smaller vans like a Peugeot Partner, VW Caddy, Citroen Berlingo, or similar as they provide the room they need. The racking system they select often involves an underfloor drawer system so they can have a comprehensive storage facility whilst keeping the overall loading space clear.

For this particular project, we helped a vet achieve the best of both worlds, space saving racking with a raised floor, additional racking units on the top of the underfloor drawers, plus room for the user’s essential travel companion!

Products we used for the installation

Raised floor racking systems consist of normally two drawers to the rear and one to the side door which provides support for the raised floor on top. This vet van has two large deep drawers at the rear and another large drawer at the passenger’s side door. Each drawer extends the full length and is supplied with removable mats and aluminium dividers. Different sized partitioned areas can easily be created by moving the dividers, you don’t need to have uniformed sections if you would like something individual.

The raised floor is constructed from marine grade 12mm birch ply and benefits from a resin coating and marbled grey finish. The floor is anti-slip and easy to keep clean.

Racking unit added to raised floor

We added a three drawer stack of drawers on top of the raised floor to provide the user with even more storage options. Our Steel drawers are all supplied with anti-slip mats and aluminium dividers, the steel ball bearing guides means the drawers can take significant weight.
