Yes, absolutely. Compact vans like the Mercedes Citan actually benefit the most from a custom racking system, because when space is tight, every single inch counts!

For smaller vans, we highly recommend looking at underfloor drawer kits. These lift your main floor up slightly, giving you massive, secure pull-out drawers for your heavy tools underneath. This also leaves the entire top deck completely free for larger materials or side-mounted shelving if desired. For compact vans, getting tools off the floor is the best way to reclaim your workspace.

Our modular Syncro System racking is professionally installed using appropriate fixings and mounting points to suit your Mercedes van.

If you decide to sell or replace your vehicle, the racking can be removed where practical. However, some fixings or mounting holes may remain, and any effect on resale value will depend on the vehicle’s condition and the installation.

A professionally fitted racking system may also be attractive to buyers looking for a ready-equipped work van.

Our Syncro System racking is modular, allowing individual shelves, drawers and accessories to be adjusted, added or replaced as your requirements change.

If you’re changing vehicles, some existing components may be reusable, depending on the new vehicle’s dimensions, mounting points and the condition of the racking.

Please note that refitting previously used racking is not covered by our standard racking warranty.

We offer both options to suit your schedule and budget. For a professional installation, you can bring your vehicle to our fully equipped installation centre, where our expert team handles the precision fitting, including any auxiliary auto-electrics or custom linings. If you prefer to handle the installation yourself, our online van racking shop is the place to go. We can supply the modules pre-assembled and shipped directly to your door with all the necessary steel brackets, fixings and instructions.
