Racking system for RS Recovery

Exciting and extensive build for RS Recovery Mercedes Sprinter.

Drivers side features open storage area behind the bulkhead with rail and retaining straps. Lockable cupboard which for RS Recovery builds is the designated area for the inverter and supporting equipment, safely stored behind a glass front. Next to the cupboard, four steel service cases on slide out shelves, each case containing colour coded mini bins. Tool storage is taken care of with a mixture of depths and width units giving eleven drawers on the drivers side. Balance of the available space benefits from covered storage, ensuring equipment is protected at all times. Drivers side is completed with a full length top tray with easy access via the hinged end flap.

Passengers side gets covered storage at floor level and just above an open shelf section with retaining straps. Theme of sturdy steel drawers continues on the passengers side with an additional eight mixed sized drawers. Workbench 1.5 mtr in length ensures plenty of working space is available for on the vehicle jobs. Towards the rear on this side there is enough room for two lockable lockers for PPE or other valuable equipment. Useful accessories are not forgotten and includes aerosol can holders, paper roll holder, long items holder and hose reel holders on rear doors.

Electrical Installation

We have worked closely with RS Recovery over the years and the electrics control centre is a great example of the collaboration. Kisae power inverter and low power protection modules are all neatly located in their own locker unit and benefit from double protection via a RS Recovery/VRS branded glass front, plus the steel lockable double doors. Additional LED lighting features throughout the vans interior. Externally the van gets a full hazard strobe warning system plus Jim-bars with low level and high level led lighting.

Migi combined compressor generator

No RS Recovery build is complete without the weight and space saving Migi machine and this build is no exception. Migi 402 features a Honda GX 270 petrol engine and a noise reducing cabin.  . This installation features additional air tanks under slung underneath the van which is a superb way to maximise space inside the van. View the Migi combined compressor generator range.
