About the project
Volkswagen Transporter racking gas engineer. Local customer wanted a comprehensive racking design but needed to keep one side of the van completely clear so large bulky items could still be transported. Drivers side has partially covered wheel arch area to make this often difficult to use area useable. Bulkhead end at floor level is left open with rail and securing straps. Eight lin bin style containers takes care of larger parts storage, containers can be easily lifted off the shelf if needed. Two steel service cases complete with coloured insert containers helps to keep small parts and fixings stored safely and neatly.
At the rear of the van is a compact slide out vice system which retracts into the racking when not in use. Open shelving provides a flexible storage solution, open shelves are supplied with removable mats and dividers. Extendible storage tray across the top of the racking with its handy hinged flap is perfect for longer difficult to store pipework or other items. Accessory Silicone and nozzle holder makes use of often wasted space on the racking end panel. Passengers side and bulkhead area remains clear for transporting large items.
