Mercedes Vito Van Racking For Electrician

This project required us to provide Mercedes Vito van racking for an electrician customer. Great example of a bespoke design for an electrical engineer’s van.

The driver’s side has a storage tray at the top and then Three Steel drawers. Below there are then Eight service cases arranged in a four case side by side stack so all Eight cases are easily accessible. Floor level gets a double run of securing straps in the open storage area, behind the straps is a section of rail with a rubber profile insert, we call it Bump rail, its really useful for securing delicate and often high value items in transit to help minimise the risk of damage.  The Passengers side also features the Bump rail system with some large Euro crate storage above, at the top there are Eight transparent pull out drawers which takes care of small parts storage. At the Passengers side door there is a rather neat and compact drawer unit with a worktop, easily accessible from outside.
