The plastic drawer units are constructed from Polymethylmelacrylate (PMMA) a transparent plastic of exceptional quality, lighter and clearer than glass and highly impact resistant. Non toxic and environmentally friendly not effected by normal chemicals. Show no sign of yellowing even at 20 years old. The material used for these drawers is often used in aircraft windows so built to be tough.
