What the Client Needed
Road Reclamation required a practical service vehicle capable of transporting tools, site equipment and secure storage systems. To support this, we installed a Ford Transit van racking layout that focuses on durability, security and efficient access from the rear of the vehicle.
The finished setup turns the van into a reliable working platform where engineers can organise equipment clearly while keeping valuable tools protected during transport.
Road Reclamation approached us looking for Ford Transit van racking that would suit the demands of site work and equipment transport. Their van needed organised tool storage while still leaving space for larger equipment.
Several priorities shaped the design:
-
Secure drawers to store tools and service equipment
-
A robust storage solution for valuable tools and equipment
-
A layout that allows quick access from the rear doors
-
A clean internal structure that keeps the load space organised
Together, these requirements would help engineers keep equipment secure while maintaining an efficient workflow on site.
What We Did
To begin, we designed a storage layout that concentrates the racking along one side of the vehicle. This approach keeps the remaining load space open so engineers can still carry larger items when required.
Next, we installed modular drawer units that allow tools to remain organised and easy to retrieve. Finally, we integrated a heavy-duty Armorgard pull-out drawer unit at the rear of the van to provide secure equipment storage.
As a result, the completed Ford Transit van racking system supports both organised tool storage and practical site work.

Offside Racking
The offside section features a structured bank of drawer units designed for organised tool storage. These drawers allow engineers to separate hand tools, fixings and smaller equipment into clearly arranged compartments.
Because the drawers sit directly behind the side door, technicians can reach essential tools quickly without climbing into the van. This arrangement keeps everyday equipment accessible while maintaining a tidy load area.
Rear Access
At the rear of the vehicle, we installed a heavy-duty Armorgard pull-out drawer system. This unit provides secure storage for valuable tools and equipment while allowing quick access from the rear doors.
The pull-out design allows engineers to retrieve items without climbing into the vehicle. As a result, equipment remains both secure and easy to reach during site work.

The End Result
This Ford Transit van racking installation provides Road Reclamation with a durable and highly practical service vehicle.
With organised drawer storage, open load space and a secure Armorgard pull-out drawer system, the van now allows engineers to transport equipment safely while maintaining quick access to tools during daily work.
The final layout balances organisation with flexibility, ensuring the vehicle remains suitable for a wide range of site tasks.
