What the Client Needed
A well-designed racking and electrical fit out turns a van into a practical mobile workspace. For this project, we worked with County Commercials to equip an Iveco Daily with organised storage, integrated lighting and onboard compressed air to support daily service work.
The result delivers a clean, efficient setup that helps engineers access tools quickly and work safely on site.
County Commercials required a racking and electrical fit out that would support engineers throughout busy working days. The vehicle needed structured storage, integrated power and clear lighting to maintain productivity on every job.
The main goals included:

Full offside and nearside racking with drawer storage

An onboard compressor system for air-powered tools

Integrated lighting mounted within the racking

A spacious and organised rear working area
Together, these features would help engineers keep tools organised, improve workflow and reduce time spent searching for equipment.
What We Did
First, we designed a balanced storage layout that maximises space while keeping equipment easy to access. Then we integrated electrical and lighting systems to support safe and efficient working conditions.
This racking and electrical fit out combines structured storage with reliable onboard power, allowing engineers to complete tasks quickly and confidently.
Offside Racking
On the offside, we installed a full racking system with multiple drawer units. This layout allows technicians to separate tools, fittings and consumables into clearly organised sections.
As a result, engineers can locate equipment quickly while keeping everything protected during transit.
Nearside Racking
Next, we installed a matching racking system on the nearside of the vehicle. This mirrored layout keeps storage consistent on both sides of the van.
Because of this approach, technicians can access equipment from either side of the vehicle, which improves workflow during on-site jobs.
Electrical & Lighting
This project also required a complete racking and electrical fit out to support powered tools and improve visibility.
First, we installed an onboard compressor system so engineers can run air-powered equipment directly from the vehicle.
Next, we integrated lighting within the racking system. These lights illuminate shelves and drawers clearly, which improves safety and accuracy when working in low-light environments.
Together, these systems transform the van into a fully functional mobile workspace.

This racking and electrical fit out for the Iveco Daily delivers a practical and organised working environment for County Commercials.
With structured storage on both sides of the van, integrated air supply and carefully positioned lighting, the vehicle now supports engineers with faster access to tools and improved efficiency on every job.
