What the Client Needed

For this project, we installed a Maxus Deliver 7 Racking system for a compressed air specialist looking to turn a brand-new van into a practical mobile workspace. The layout needed to keep tools organised, support on-site work and provide flexible storage for compressed air service equipment.

By combining structured storage, a durable workbench and clear access throughout the van, the finished installation now supports engineers working across a variety of service environments.

The customer required Maxus Deliver 7 Racking that would create a clean and organised working environment while supporting daily compressed air servicing tasks.

The main requirements included:

  • A clear and organised layout for tools and essential equipment

  • Flexible storage for compressed air service components

  • A strong and practical workbench for on-site tasks

  • A professional finish that reflects the company’s brand image

Together, these features would help engineers work efficiently while keeping equipment organised and accessible.

What We Did

First, we designed a layout that balances storage with a practical working area. Then we integrated shelving, drawer systems and a heavy-duty workbench to support on-site servicing tasks.

This Maxus Deliver 7 Racking installation creates a structured workspace that helps engineers organise tools, prepare components and move easily throughout the van.

Offside Racking

On the offside, we installed a structured drawer system that includes a mix of shallow and deep drawers. These compartments allow engineers to organise tools, spare parts and testing equipment used in compressed air servicing.

Above the drawers, an open shelf provides space for larger items, while the lower section remains open to accommodate bulkier equipment or cases.

Nearside Racking

On the nearside, we installed a shelving unit that includes three full-length shelves along with a top section fitted with removable blue parts bins.

These bins allow engineers to sort smaller components and fittings into organised sections. Because the shelves sit close to the sliding door, technicians can access items quickly during service work.

Bulkhead & Workbench Area

Directly behind the bulkhead, we installed a 24mm marine-grade resin-coated plywood workbench. This durable surface provides a stable area for assembly work, preparation tasks and on-site servicing.

We also mounted a vice with a rotating plate on the workbench. This feature allows engineers to hold pipes, fittings and components securely while carrying out repairs or adjustments.

Above and around the bench area, additional racking provides open storage for frequently used tools and equipment.

The End Result

This Maxus Deliver 7 Racking installation delivers a clean and highly practical mobile workspace for a compressed air specialist.

With organised storage, a durable workbench and flexible shelving, the van now supports efficient on-site servicing while keeping tools and components secure and accessible.

The finished layout provides the space, organisation and durability needed for demanding day-to-day work.
